Georgette, you need to download the Little Alchemy application onto your computer to be able to do the candy combinations.
My tip: When you need to find how to do something, take the URL of the "hints" page and replace the last word with the one you're looking for (if two words, separate like_this)
For Example:
http://littlealchemy.com/cheats/?dynamite
Replace "dynamite" at the end, and add, maybe you're looking coconut:
http://littlealchemy.com/cheats/?coconut
